Paint the town red..

Look of the day: A replica of Mary-Kate Olsen's outfit during the annual MET Gala this 2011. Fantastic monochrome ensemble that completely stands out.

New Wave

I'm re-branding my blog to a "Look of the Day" kind of blog. But here's the twist: the outfits are in drawings. My muse (who is still currently unnamed so she'll be eponymous for now) Mars is going to model my favorite outfits from the runway, magazine, blogs or whatever I feel like wearing. I started doing this in 2008 when I was in my 3rd year of high school and lately I just found a love of doing it again. So here's a toast to Mars! Hope more outfits will come!

Draw me up

Lately I've been very busy with my organization yet at the end of the day it makes me want to do the things I enjoy the most. One is looking at fashion sites, updating myself as much as I could. Sometimes it gets so addicting and it makes my work load even bigger! Hihi. But luckily I was able to find time for drawing. The one from above, I did that during class when we were viewing this movie I've already watched and I actually read it as well. I believe this first one is the best one! It gives a little justice to Shenae Grimes!

This one I discovered designer Gregory Parkinson. I was attracted with his collections of beautiful textiles. I don't usually this much patterns, prints and colors. If I do so they are typically costume-y. Something not all woman would wear just the daring ones. But with him these are all wearable. Technically it's too much yet still pleasing to the eyes.

The photos came from his 3 different collections (Spring, Fall and Resort). All of them contain interesting fabrics I'm dying to see/own. I would want to own one of his pieces. It takes tasteful eyes to be able to match all these fabrics and edit it down to something sellable. Definitely, his pieces can stand alone separately. Like that floral jacket alone is a statement piece that can last. What makes it even better is that it seems like it won't out date. Outstanding designer for me. Too bad my drawing doesn't do justice.

POLAROID.

As I was updating myself with Tracianne and Trasienne, I saw this! The Eiffel Tower+Polariod. Wow! A combination I can't resist! A translation of what she wrote below is "To like and to be liked would be a great business all our life." That definitely translate the photo above it. Oh the youreviltwins photographs. They are like Mary-Kate and Ashley whom I sooo adore as well. It makes me wish I have a twin sister or at least a sister.

Anyway it made me remember that I have this polaroid app. (I'm still thinking if I want an instax it's just that it is expensive.) So here are a few or actually these are everything because I don't usually use it.

A chandelier that I saw in Singapore somewhere in Marina already. It's all black with red candles. It made a gothic/elegant attraction to me.

Hehehe. It's me avec mon amour Charlie Chaplin! Although he's not looking! That's a bad sign in a relationship! NOOO!

And yeah. It's me with my Pirates cap which you can't really see.

My ever adorable pink vinyl bear!!!
If you want a polaroid app as well, you may checkout Polaroidroid.

Bag Feature

I took this last May 31 as a sample shoot for a bag feature in Inquirer. Then guess what? It got published yesterday!! I must admit I did the shoot hastily. Well it was kind of hard to arrange the "what's in your bag" part. I've been busy and then when I do get to have time I get sooo lazy. Like today so now I realized I have to study for a quiz tomorrow. So I'll leave the link of my article here instead. Check out What's in their school bag?

Singapore-la!

So I went on vacation last week. Hahaha it was actually my second week in school but yeah oh well. It's Singapore! No way am I going to miss it for school! That's the Merlion in Sentosa. Something you should not miss.

Here are some jellyfishiiiiees! I was fascinated to see them glow. This was in Underwater World in Sentosa as well.

This is not Mexico. This is actually in Little India. Very colorful.
This is an art exhibition in the making at the Singapore Art Musuem Extension. Which is right beside my hotel! Actually my hotel is kinda' in an artsy community. There were galleries. Art schools quite nearby.
I was looking for a Kinder Surprise instead I saw this Kinder Joy with surprise! This one is simply in an egg shape container. Then you open it in half. One side is full of chocolate and you scoop it with this human portrait shaped plastic. On the other is the toy! Yey for the toy!
I did find Kinder Surprise at the airport!

That's all for now. I'm too caught up in school work and I'm pretty stressed in my org workssss. So until next time! Hopefully I'll have more time to make good quality posts.
