Happy New Year!!

I love this girl. She'll probably become an "IT" model in the future just like Karlie. But that's not why I posted this picture. It's because, in this picture Teen Vogue was able to give another life in cargo pants. I'm not saying it will be a new trend this 2009. All I'm saying is I love how they were able to make it a bit girly and soft. It's so simple yet it stands out.

Now here's a blog post about 2009 fashion trends.
They say:
*Boyfriend jeans (ala katie holmes)
*carefree look (ala keira knightley)
*messy look (ala kate moss)
*fringes (pinays will look like pocahontas with this!)
*plaids (it has already began last year!)
*Florals (yup! House of Holland, Luella and Anna Sui did florals for S/S '09)

I say!:
*Grunge look!! (Just coz' I want it!)
*Greco-Roman look (meaning flowy garments)
*Structured heels and Booties (I gotta find the perfect pair!! Fast!)


P.S. : Try not to follow the I say part coz' usually, my style doesn't go with the trend. I may use trend pieces, but I wear them differently.
