Holy Week

Holy Week. It's the time of the year where Christians remember how Jesus saved us all by sacrificing His life. He is the beginning and the end. The lenten season starts with Ash Wednesday. Then (if i'm correct) after forty days Maundy Thursday comes next. Usually, the Visita Iglesia is done. People go to various churches. For my family we always go to 7 churches and pray at the 14 Stations of the Cross. This year we went to San Fabian (near my house), San Antonio (Forbes), St. Andrew (Reposo, Makati), St. Alphonsus (Magallanes), St. Therese (near Resorts World), Holy Family (near Dian St. Makati) and St. Joseph the worker (somewhere in Palanan, Makati). Let us remember the Last Supper, Jesus' suffering with carrying the cross and cruxified to death. Especially tomorrow which is Good Friday; Jesus died at 3pm in the afternoon. On the following day, we should still mourn for His death during Black Saturday. Finally on Easter Sunday, we can have a feast with our family as Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
